David joined Adrenaline Mob back in April. The band’s latest album We The People dropped on June 2 via Century Media Records/Sony Music Entertainment. In addition to his duties in Adrenaline Mob, David was a touring bassist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He performed with TSO from 2000-2006, and rejoined the group in 2010. David was also a current member of the enormously popular 80s tribute act Rubix Cube.
David was also a member of the rock trio ZO2 with is brother Paul Zablidowsky and long-time friend Joey Cassata. The band formed in 2002 in Brooklyn, NY with Paulie Z on guitar/vocals, David Z on bass, and Joey Cassata on drums. In 2004 after the release of their debut album Tuesdays & Thursdays, the ZO2 opened for KISS and Poison on a 40-city tour.
The band’s musical pinnacle came in 2007 with the release of their sophomore effort Ain’t It Beautiful in 2007. The disc featured the hit single “Isolate.” After releasing their final album Casino Logic in 2009, the band decided to call it quits so that all three members could pursue other musical endeavors.
In addition to being an incredible musician, David was adored by fans. He showed them adoration in return, and lived the life of a humble rockstar. Our thoughts and prayers are with David, his family, his friends, and all of his bandmates throughout his career. God Bless, David Z. Thank you for all the incredible music and memories.
